Our multidisciplinary team has worked together for more than 9 years and is composed of a child and adolescent psychiatrist, a neuropsychologist, licensed clinical psychologists, a licensed clinical social worker and a licensed clinical counselor who is also a child development specialist. As a team we strive to enhance the well being of children, families and communities through early intervention and by encouraging individual and family strengths. We draw from the specialties of our group to conduct a holistic assessment of our clients resulting in treatment tailored to each child or families unique abilities and needs. AFG Guidance Center offers a variety of services for children, families and professionals. Our full time child and adolescent psychiatrist can provide complete psychiatric evaluations and medication monitoring as needed. We conduct intellectual, emotional or neuropsychological testing, developmental evaluations, review IEP‘s and other evaluations already received. We emphasize early intervention and have expertise in the evaluation and treatment of pre-school age children. We provide therapy to children, adolescents and families utilizing a variety of treatment modalities. Additionally, AFG Guidance Center offers a variety of education, support and skill building groups, as well as professional consultation and education. At your request, we can design professional development trainings to meet the needs of your staff or psycho-educational seminars for parents.
